Are meals included in the stay?
Our packages include shore lunch provided by guides on days that you are fishing. Breakfast and dinner is your responsibility and can be prepared in the comfort of your cabins.
Shore lunch features fresh walleye fillets cooked in a time honoured northern style, with fried potatoes and baked beans.
Is there a guide available for fishing trips?
Yes, experienced guides are available to enhance your fishing experience. They can provide valuable tips and ensure a successful outing.
What is the best time of year to visit?
The prime fishing season runs from May to September, offering ideal conditions for catching Walleye and Northern Pike.
How do I get to the lodge?
The adventure begins at the historic town of Stanley Mission, located at Lac La Ronge Provincial Park, accessible by road or air only 80 kilometers from La Ronge, SK.
Churchill River Voyageur Lodge is located at Potter Rapids (also known as Drinking Falls). We’ll pick you up at the docks of Stanley Mission, taking you on a 15 mile trip by boat.
Can I bring my own boat?
To ensure guest safety, we do not allow guests to bring their own boats. All trips include boats, motors, and guided fishing.
